General Guidance
For Organic Growth
Use primary and longtail keywords
Your title should include the main keywords that people are likely to search for, as well as longtail keywords that are more specific to your topic.
Primary Keywords
-
Short and general: These are the core words or phrases that define your topic.
-
High search volume: Typically have a large number of monthly searches.
-
Competitive: Due to high popularity, there's often stiff competition for top search rankings.
Example: If you're writing an article about "Dubai restaurants," "Dubai" would be a primary keyword.
Longtail Keywords
-
Specific and descriptive: These are longer phrases that reflect a user's exact search intent.
-
Lower search volume: Usually have fewer monthly searches compared to primary keywords.
-
Less competition: Often easier to rank for due to lower competition.
Example: Continuing the "Dubai restaurants" topic, longtail keywords could be "best Italian restaurants in Dubai," "cheap vegetarian food Dubai," or "romantic dinner Dubai."
Identifying Keywords
-
Find keywords within Khaleej Times 🔥Hot Keywords🔥 database
-
Study top-ranking websites: Identify the keywords they're targeting.
-
Analyze their content: Understand how they use keywords within their articles and titles.
-
Consider their search behavior: What terms would they use to find your content?
-
Incorporate relevant terms: Use language that your target audience is familiar with.
-
Submit request for specific keywords - let our growth consultant know what you are writing about and they will get back to you with top, related opportunities.
Note: While primary keywords are important for overall visibility, longtail keywords often convert better as they target a more specific audience. A balanced approach, incorporating both types of keywords, is generally recommended.

Other Tips
-
Localize Keywords: Incorporate location-specific terms (e.g., Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah) to target a local audience.
-
Consider User Intent: Understand what users are looking for when searching for a particular keyword.

Example Title:
-
Primary Keyword: Dubai restaurants
-
Longtail Keyword: best Indian restaurants in Dubai

More on Titles
Keep it concise
Aim for a title that is between 50 and 60 characters long. This will ensure that your entire title is displayed in search results
Avoid keyword cannibalization
This occurs when you have multiple articles on your website that target the same keyword. This can confuse search engines and make it difficult for your articles to rank. To avoid keyword cannibalization, make sure that your titles are unique and that they target different aspects of your topic
Use section names sparingly (UAE: TITLE)
While it can be helpful to use section names in your titles to indicate the category of your article, you should avoid doing this too often. Long titles that include section names can be off-putting to readers and may not rank as well in search results
Use Power Words
Include words that will grab attention and make people want to click on your article.
